God-Casting…Podcast with FLAVA!

I used to love listening to the radio…before all of the sex and drug references and the crazy shock jock mentality took over the airwaves. I had given up on hearing good radio programs that included wholesome commentary and good music, that is until I discovered some really good podcasts. Podcast like HCR’s 3rd Coast Fiyah, and The Wade-O Radio Show. There’s also shows like the DJ Rickashay Podcasts and a host of others. What is unique about these Podcast is that they are all Christian but not at all boring and they can hold their own against any of today’s top secular shows. In addition to these there is also a host of Christian Internet Radio Shows that are growing in Leaps and Bounds.

One of our favorites is the “3rd Coast Fyah” podcast hosted by one of thee Hottest DJs there is DJ D-Lite, this podcast brings you the heat, bangin beats, thought provokin lyrics and a Top Ten Countdown that is off the “shcablanger” as my boyz from the “What In The Ham Sandwich? Show” would say. What we enjoy the most about this show is how DJ D-Lite is always right on point with the opening of each show as He shares a reading from the Word and gives a few words of encouragement and even correction sometimes, without a doubt this show keeps the Ipod happy!

Then there is my man DJ Wade-O and the Wade-O Radio Show. I absolutely love this podcast, it’s probably one of the few shows that I make sure to catch live on the air. With each show Wade-O manages to not only bring the heat, but he also manages to reveal a different side to the artist that He interviews on the show. There are a couple of artist who had gone unnoticed by me, or some who I wasn’t really feelin them or their ministry and gettin the chance to listen to them express their heart or reveal a few facts that were unknown to me, prompted me to at least give them a chance…and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Recently Wade- O took the step to launch out full time into his ministry and has been takin off ever since. His show is now on the radio daily, and he has teamed up with the good folks at HCR (Holy Culture Radio) now we can get all of favorite podcast at one spot.

There’s also my good friends over at HeadzUp Radio, the hottest online radio station there is rackin up some crazy numbers when it comes to listeners, it’s radio the way it was meant to be…no wackness…no payola…no empty hooks here baby! In addition to the online radio there is also the hot HeadzUp podcast, now you can take some of the hotness with ya when you are on the go. Just like true radio it has a variety of flava, whether it’s the Revelations with Miss Dazjah, or the Gospel Hip Hop Show with Young Brett, or words of Wisdom with Peter Via you can find it all on this podcast

I can’t forget about my boyz Sean Slaughter and Cook Dog (aka St Nick aka Drummer Beach Boy) the hilarious host of the “What In The Ham Sandwich Show!” the show where they tackle the subjects, and ask the questions that we tend to avoid in our Churches and Christian Circles. I usually have to listen to this one more than once because I usually end up laughing so hard I missin some of what they are sayin. I really appreciate the way they bring some of the things we have swept under the rug out into the spotlight. Sean Slaughter and Cook Dog became weary of radio talk shows like Howard Stern…in The Ham Sandwich Show, Church, life, and politics get tackled hard by Sean and Cook in the most hilarious way you’ve ever heard. They cut through the fat and give you the facts…Welcome to the land of the Ham Sandwich.

That’s just a few of the great podcast out there that are free from the curses and negative verses, providing you with some of the best in Christian Rap, Holy Hip Hop, Commentary and Rhythm and Praise.
