Puttin in Work!
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. -John 9:4
Believe it or not there is coming a time when we will no longer be able to put in any work for the Kingdom. Jesus often reminds us that we must redeemed (make good use of ) the time we have been blessed with. He used the parables such as the Ten Virgins, to remind us that we must always be prepared.
There is a lot of talking and debating going on as of late…but not as much work. Battling over whose theology is the tightest, or who is really ministry or not, sounds like good Christian talk…but if you really look at those things tend to take us further way from the idea that Jesus is coming back. Let’s be mindful that Jesus has entrusted us to finish the Work He started, don’t think for a minute that he has equipped us and made so much power available for us just so we can out talk each other.
Let’s get off of our butts and start spending time on our knees until the Spirit of God convicts, corrects and then commissions us to get up on our feet and start hitting this world with the demonstration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ…not just empty words…but following in the footsteps of our Lord and Saviour…after all that is the reason we bear His Name…is it not!
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. – John 14:12

You right on point fam! I like holy hip hop that comes with that power and word at the same time, like this group called Tru Saints (www.myspace.com/trusaints7) but that doesn’t discount and other ministers that come from a different angle. Different fish….different bait.
