“All of Us Need To Be Reached!!!”

Hey fam,

I was just watching this video. I have seen it several times, but this time as I watched I paid more attention to the signs the people were holding up. Each one revealed a statistic…but it was the very last sign that really got my attention. After all of the stats were revealed…after all was said and done and the song was over the last sign said it all…it said “All Of Us Need To Be Reached”

That’s it in a nut shell…everyone needs to be reached….that bears repeating…Everyone Needs To Be Reached! It’s time that we get over our own hangs ups with sin and religion and really be about finishing  what we have been commissioned to do. Everyone has value in God’s eye’s and we need to start seeing that value…and stop acting like we are shocked when we see sinners sin. We need to love and pursue them the very same way God pursues us.

To all my holy hip hop brothas and sistas and everyone in ministry…I want to challenge you to do a real self check…are you in it to reach the people…or are you chasing the fame and recognition. Are you reaching the people in your circle…in your family…if not isn’t it kind of hypocritical to travel all around from gig to gig trying to spread a message that you yourself don’t apply.

I aint trying to fuss or preach at ya…I just want to remind you that there are a lot of people hurting out there and they need what we have…and we need to stop fighting each other….to stop overreacting to their protesting and start walking in the power and authority that we have been given through Jesus Christ.

ALL OF THEM NEED TO BE REACHED!!!!
